Delete your Pond Hopping account

You can have your Pond Hopping account, and everything in it, deleted at any time. You do not need to give a reason.
How to ask
- Send an email to hello@eend.app from the address you sign in to Pond Hopping with. Sending it from that address is how we know the request is yours.
- Put Delete my account in the subject line.
- You will get a reply confirming it within 7 days, and everything will be deleted within 30 days of your request.
What gets deleted
All of it. Specifically:
- Your account and sign-in details, and your profile
- Every trip, and its journal entries, notes, dates and plans
- Every photograph you have uploaded, and its captions and locations
- Flights, runs — including distance, pace and heart rate — and recorded costs
- Any places recorded by the app, and any imported timeline days
- Forwarded booking emails, including their original text
- Notification tokens for your devices, so nothing can be sent to them again
- Any sharing links you have created, which stop working immediately
- Your connections to other people, and any invitations you sent
What is kept, and for how long
- Nothing of yours is kept on purpose. There is no archived copy, and no retention period after deletion.
- Routine infrastructure backups taken by our hosting providers may still contain your data for a short period. These are not readable by us as individual records and are cycled out within 30 days.
- Content that was never yours stays — the example trip shown to new visitors belongs to the app, not to your account.
- If someone else shared a trip with you, that trip is theirs and remains theirs. Only your access to it is removed.
Deleting only some of it
If you would rather keep your account, you can delete individual trips, journal entries and photographs yourself inside the app, and switch off place recording in Account at any time.
